Gruesome Joe’s Musical Morgue

It is very macabre indeed–Michael Jackson died today.  One of my childhood idols, and one that started my love of Halloween off in the 80′s with his smash hit “Thriller.”  It sort of resonates deep with me–not only was he a talented vocalist and performer, but was a great inspiration for me as a kid.  I don’t think I’ll miss his odd antics (not that I really cared in the first place), but I will miss the energy and joy he brought to lots of folks.  He inspired a generation of haunters and Halloween enthusiasts, and for that I will always be thankful.
